Translating these kinds of terms and expressions to Portuguese is not easy, because it is usually difficult for translators to achieve equivalence at the word level. In the face of this difficulty, the lecture uses concrete examples to discuss the characteristics of these keywords, how to better understand the new concepts about China, and the principles, strategies, and methods for achieving their adequate translation. About the speaker: Dr. Yan Qiaorong, associate professor at Communication University of China (CUC) and researcher in Chinese-Portuguese translation and Portuguese language teaching, has a wealth of experience in Chinese-Portuguese translation.
