The workshop is designed to provide graduate students with practical and instructional training in order to enhance their interpreting skills and abilities.

Topics:

1^st session (31/08) – Brief introduction to interpretation skills (on oral comprehension, memorization and interpretation); training on oral comprehension and memorization without the help of notes 

2^nd session (07/09) – Further details on the oral comprehension and memorization skills; training on oral comprehension and memorization with/without the help of notes

3^rd session (14/09) – Details on the skills of note taking; training on simple tasks of consecutive interpretation

4^th session (21/09) – Details on interpretation skills, especially their application in consecutive interpretation; training on simple tasks of consecutive interpretation

5^th session (28/09) – Expansion of theoretical aspects; increasing the length and difficulty of single interpreting training tasks; guiding the students to deepen their understanding of the relevant skills in the practice of interpretation; analyzing the difficulties and errors made by the students during the interpretation tasks and indicating the ways of solution and the approaches to the their improvement

6^th session (05/10) – Guiding the students to deepen their understanding of the relevant skills in the practice of interpretation; analyzing the difficulties and errors made by the students during the interpretation tasks and indicating the ways of solution and the approaches to their improvement

7^th session (12/10) – Guiding the students to deepen their understanding of the relevant skills in the practice of interpretation; analyzing the difficulties and errors made by the students during the interpretation tasks and indicating the ways of solution and the approaches to their improvement

8^th session (19/10) – Summarizing the achievements and problems of the students; indicating approaches to improvement; evaluation

At the end of the workshop, according to evaluation results, participants will receive a certificate of achievement.
