On the morning of May 19, Professor Zhang Jing, Director of the Chinese-Portuguese Bilingual Teaching and Training Centre, greeted Ms. Ho Yu, Principal of Escola Sun Wah of Macau and their Portuguese language teaching team, to discuss the cooperation plan and finalize the details of the organization of the 1st Chinese-Portuguese Lyrics Translation Contest.
The Contest aims to promote cultural exchange between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, cultivate potential students in the translation of lyrics and provide a platform for music lovers and Chinese-Portuguese translators to showcase their talents. The Contest will be held in the first semester of the Academic Year 2025/2026, and will be opened to students from all higher education institutions in China (including bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees).
