The seminar will cover the focus of the contact phenomena is presented within a socio-historical context from the perspective of a comprehensive grammatical system with examples generating from the romance family.

Professor Irene Maria Blayer is currently a full professor from Brock University. She received a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Toronto, whose interests evolved into larger cross-linguistics and interdisciplinary teaching and research projects.
